Are you ready to escape the heat? Are you ready for spectacular views of the San Francisco Bay? Allow about an hour and a half driving from Sacramento to Crockett via I – 80 West. Immediately after crossing the new Alfred Zampa Bridge, exit the Interstate and drive East under the freeway on Pomona Street. Pass through the teeming metropolis of Crockett until reaching Crockett Boulevard. Go right on the boulevard and right again down to the school parking lot. Our first good refreshment stop comes at mile 41 so bring at least 2 bottles of water. The long ride covers about 66 miles. A short ride of 29 miles will be available to those not feeling so enthusiastic.
