Ride goes to Placerville via Deer Valley and Green Valley Roads. Short ride cuts off onto Lotus Road after Rescue. We will return to start via Gold Hill, Hwy 49, and Salmon Falls Road. Lots of climbing and a great down hill. No SAG, no Sweep.

Orchard Ride with Mix Canyon Option

Take I-80 west, exit n Pitt School Road, turn left across freeway to West H Street. Left on West h Street, left on Lincoln, right on Park Green Drive.

Ride heads west to Cantelow, which is a nice climb. After Climbing Cantelow, you have the option of climbing Mix Canyon (a 4.6 mile out and pack) with some 20% grades. The ride takes you into Winters with some great potential lunch stops and then continues through several walnut orchards back to Dixon. No water for the first 23 – 30 miles.

Ride the length of the American River Parkway in support of the Parkway. All proceeds benefit the Parkway. Ride from Arden Bar to Discovery Park then up to Folsom Lake and back to Arden Bar. Several rest stops are provided. After the ride enjoy a great BBQ and raffle with many friends and fellow cyclists. Register on-line or send in the paper flier.

Ride up to Warner Valley with great views of Mt. Lassen. Descend back down to Chester and ride down the east side of Lake Almanor to Hwy 89. From there turn left to descend down to the Indian Valley for a beautiful loop and lunch. Turn right to head back to Chester for a wonderful post ride BBQ. Register by mail. Check on-line they may have added that option.

From Gold River Town Center we take the bike trail to Folsom with two “Cols” to help you earn that after ride treat at Starbucks or Jamba Juice. The short ride avoids the two hills. Elevation gain – 1600 ft. Rain cancels. A Groupo ride.
