Wheelmen members are encouraged to subscribe to
our e-mail discussion lists.
TOPICA
Receiving/Viewing Messages
After you become a list member, you can choose to receive e-mail messages directly
or view them on the Topica Web site. For example, if you are going on vacation,
you may want to switch message delivery to Web viewing  only.
Register and access your account on Topica to
make these and other changes.
Posting Messages
To send a message to all list members, address your message to sacramento-wheelmen@topica.com.
The list is for non-commercial use only. Anything
directly pertaining to cycling, including personal ads announcing equipment
for sale, is considered appropriate. Off-topic postings of significant
benefit to the Wheelmen community are also acceptable; however, such
postings must be made with reasonable discretion.
YAHOO GROUPS
This is a two step process. You will first need a Yahoo e-mail account, and then you will need to join the Sacwheelmen Yahoo Group in order to get on the mailing list and message board.
1) Create a Yahoo e-mail account
Go to www.yahoo.com and click on the Free Mail: Sign Up link in the upper-right corner. Follow the steps by providing a little personal info (feel free to submit fake information if you'd prefer). You'll then be directed to an account confirmation page that shows your username and password (write these down, if necessary), and then to your e-mail page (there may be a tutorial). You now have a Yahoo account that you can use to join the Sacwheelmen group.
2) Join the Sacwheelmen Yahoo Group
Go to this link: http://sports.groups.yahoo.com/group/sacwheelmen/ (or search for "sacwheelmen" in Yahoo Groups) and click the Join This Group button. If prompted, sign in to your account and follow the steps on the Options page. Click the Join button and, after the moderator (Dave Storm) approves your membership, you'll receive a confirmation e-mail with instructions on how to finalize your membership in the Sacwheelmen Group (1-2 days). Check your Yahoo e-mail (click on the e-mail link from www.yahoo.com) and follow the instructions in the confirmation e-mail from the Sacwheelmen Group e-mail.
