Northwest Tandem Rally 2008

Registration begins on the evening of Thursday, July 3rd.

On Friday, July 4th, there will be a mass start to kick off the rally and there will be fireworks in the evening. On Saturday, July 5th, another day of supported rides followed by the 2008 rally banquet. Things will wrap up with a choice of self-supported rides on Sunday, July 6th. Throughout the rally there will be a Vendor Fair, trade show, dessert social and other events. Check out www.nwtr.org/2008 for more details and to download the registration form.

This is a camping zodiac. A SAG will be provided by Dick Siple. Day one is a ride to Sunset State Beach near Watsonville. Then we ride to Big Sur Campground, Plasket Ceek, then Morro Bay and finally to the Amtrak station in San Luis Obispo. This ride is suitable for anyone capable of riding 50 miles a day with a little climbing. Bring a camera. You’ll be riding by what has been called the most beautiful meeting of land and sea in the world. The SAG has room for a maximum of 11 people. Please let me know if you plan to do the ride.
